2001, I started the development of a basic team training for
my church. I the process, I realized that there was a need
nationwide in providing security training and planning for
churches and synagogues.
As a recently retired peace
officer and 30+ years
practitioner of martial arts, I was in a position to research
and develop security team training tactics. A lot of people
would have this skill but often they do not have the time or
desire to do it. I have spent over 8 years in developing a
program for making our churches safer and more prepared for
emergency situations. When I speak with other peace officers
that are embarking on developing a team they do not want to
"reinvent the wheel" as they appreciate that church security
is unique in the field of security. It is my hope
that I can be of assistance
through my guidebooks, seminars, and providing advice via
email or phone.
